Our first Ethiopian coffee of the season has finally arrived - and it is incredible! 

This coffee from Uraga showcases truly exceptional clarity and drinkability for a natural coffee. There is just enough sweetness and fruit that nobody would ever mistake it as fully-washed, but it is so delicate and balanced that it is a pure expression of terroir over process. From the ultra-high region of Uraga, this coffee bursts with red fruit and florals.

"Believe it or not, the stellar coffees within Guji Uraga were once trucked across the border to Yirgacheffe and sold there as Yirgacheffe coffees because no one had yet recognized their distinct character. Over a decade ago, Aleco Chigounis, who would go on to co-found Red Fox, tasted the coffees of Guji Uraga and knew they were unique, second to none, and deserving of differentiation. Now, this region is world-famous and the producers here benefit from competition for their coffees."
